Getting a school good, clean and ready

Other schools urged to do the same next year.

ROSETTENVILLE – Rosettenville Central Primary School was one of the first schools in Johannesburg South to take part in the clean-up campaign requested by the MEC for Education Barbara Creecy, on Saturday January 11.

Parents, learners, leaders, teachers, the principal and district officials arrived at 08:00 to start the cleaning process. Classrooms were cleaned, desks scrubbed, windows washed, grass cut and quads swept, to name a few things accomplished. This was done to get the school ready for the first day of school on Wednesday January 15.

The School’s governing body and principal, Mr Miller, would like to thank all who took the time to participate in this very important event. “We challenge all schools in the South to take part in the clean-up campaign next year, as this gives the parents and learners a sense of pride, showing they care for their school and community,” he said.
