MONDEOR – A Mondeor family suffered a terrible loss on the morning of May 10, when a dead body was discovered in the pool by a family member.
Mondeor SAPS Communication Officer, Constable Sibongile E Mnguni, confirmed that an adult female had been found dead in the pool by her stepdaughter at 07:45. The age of the stepdaughter was not revealed to the CHRONICLE.
An inquest document was opened by Mondeor SAPS, who attended the accident scene with Mondeor Sector 2 Patrollers and trauma councillors.
The white woman is estimated to be around 35 years old and could have drowned accidentally on the fateful morning. The police is awaiting a post mortem report to determine the cause of the accident.
