JOHANNESBURG – Soweto residents were in for a treat recently as the Dawn Day Spa visited Bara Mall to spoil anyone who bought a Dawn product with a relaxing head, neck and shoulder or hand massage, and the exciting opportunity to meet the stunning actress and Face of Dawn, Mbali Mlotshwa.
Dawn Day Spa has travelled to communities in their respective suburbs for three years now, first as a mobile spa in a bus, then as spa activations in community shopping centres, and now as a mobile container that has been converted into a full spa.
Following a star-studded launch event attended by top SA celebs and the Face Of Dawn, Mbali Mlotshwa, the mobile spa hit the road officially at the end of May. Here it was met by an enthusiastic crowd eager to experience a little pampering to make them feel their most beautiful.
Dawn Day Spa visited Bara Mall over the weekend of Friday June 27 and Saturday June 28.
Three finalists will be chosen from the people who enter to take part in a beauty business course, where they will receive beauty training and develop their skills to be able to work in a beauty spa. The winner who performs best at the beauty training will win the grand prize of the entire Dawn Day Spa mobile container, valued at more than R200 000, from which she will be able to run her own beauty business.
“This competition shows that anyone can dream big and win the opportunity to run their own business. It celebrates the idea that every day is a special day, and we hope our consumers will feel appreciated by being rewarded with not only a free massage, but also the chance to win a life-changing experience,” said Brand Manager of Dawn Mnikelo Qubu.
