Garden club learns about Namib Desert

Guest speaker, Wim Spronk, well-known to Johannesburg South Garden Club members, showed DVD’s of the Namib Desert, Mango swamps and a DVD called, Bushbaby SOS.

KIBLER PARK: Wim, who has spent many hours recording wildlife and places of interest and beauty, often goes to various garden clubs showing his work.

The DVD’s are also narrated by him, which makes them even more interesting for the viewer. All the members enjoyed the interesting meeting.

The next garden club meeting will take place on Saturday November 15 at Entrance Precinct in Peggy Vera Road, Kibler Park, where garden  club member, Rob Jones will show how to make a Christmas table decoration. The cost for members will be R40 and visitors will pay R60. “Please bring along a candle, two Christmas baubles, an oblong plastic tray, block of oasis and scissors” asks Rob.
