Woman ‘hit in the face’ during hijacking

The woman told paramedics that she had apparently been hit in face as she was pulling her child from the vehicle.

JOHANNESBURG – A woman and her 4-month-old child were injured this morning in an apparent hijacking on Bouquet Road in Rosettenville, Johannesburg.

According to ER24 Spokesperson Russel Meiring, “When paramedics arrived at the scene, they found both the mother and child standing next to their vehicle, which had crashed into a wall.”

On assessment, paramedics found that both the mother and child had sustained only minor injuries in this incident.

Paramedics treated both patients and transported them to South Rand Hospital for further treatment.

The mother later told paramedics that she had apparently been hit in face as she was pulling her child from the vehicle.
