Safety exhibition at Nasrec

This is your chance to get involved in the industry, to have your say and to hear what others have to say.

NASREC – Southern African Emergency Services Institute (SAESI) will host a conference, an exhibition and a training event between Sunday, November 1, and Friday, November 6, at the Johannesburg Exhibition Centre in Nasrec.

The events will see industry leaders come together to discuss the theme ‘Building resilient communities’, with Elias Sithole, head of Gauteng’s provincial disaster management centre.

An exciting new feature of this year’s conference is the breakaway sessions, where delegates will be given the opportunity to speak to the topic speakers and session chairs, and debate topics including education, risk management and the international standardisation of security and resilience.

The conference will feature two keynote speakers: Dr Imtiaz Sooliman, founder of the Gift of the Givers foundation, and Stuart Ellis, chief executive officer of the Australasian Fire and Emergency Service Authorities Council (AFAC).

SAESI 2015 will not only include a fun run, a world record attempt and training events, but will also present delegates with a unique opportunity to discuss and debate various topics with industry leaders.
