SOJO and Rotary annual charity race day

Supporting United Cerebral Palsy Association

THE South of Joburg Business and Tourism (SOJO) will be hosting its annual race day at the Turffontein Race Course, Centenary Room in Turf Club Street, Turffontein on May 7 from 11:00.

The community is invited to get involved and enjoy this fun-filled day.

There are three different price options:

*R380 per person, including three-course buffet lunch, complimentary wine and Computaform.

*R2 800 per table seating eight, including three-course buffet lunch, complimentary wine and Computaform.

*R8 000 will also get you naming rights and includes a three-course buffet lunch, complimentary wine and Computaform, advertising on the scoreboard on the day and in the nationally distributed Computaforms (only eight races available to secure naming rights), and television coverage in 19 countries, including USA, Brazil, UK, Malaysia, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, Denmark, France, Belgium, Holland, Austria, Pakistan, Germany, Spain, Italy, Turkey, Zimbabwe and Kenya. Web streaming in Thailand, Indonesia and China as well as existing South African taxation laws allows for tax relief on donations.

A third of the net takings are donated to the UCPA (United Cerebral Palsy Association).

A cash bar and betting facilities will be available at the venue. The dress code is black and white (semi-casual). Loads of fun prizes await.

A wheelbarrow filled with attractive goods will be raffled, a Lions rugby jersey signed by the whole team will be on auction and you can stand a chance to win the best-dressed surprise prizes and other lucky draw spot prizes.

On the day there will be a DJ and live entertainment. RSVP strictly by April 22.
