The suspect was traced and found in prison already serving a sentence for other cases.

ON April 22, Mandla Xaba, a 24-year-old suspect, was sentenced to 10 years’ imprisonment by the Johannesburg Regional Court for housebreaking and theft which occurred in Katlagter Crescent, Liefde en Vrede Village on August 4, 2011.

The suspect broke the window and entered the victims’ premises between 07:00 and 17:00, exact time unknown, and stole belongings valued at about R40 000.

The case was assigned to Constable Gugu Thwala of Mondeor SAPS for further investigation.

The suspect was traced and found in prison, already serving a sentence for other cases.
