Collision in Booysens

ACCORDING to ER24, a taxi and a light motor vehicle collided earlier today, on the corner of Nelson and Chambers roads, in Booysens.

ER24 reported that the taxi rolled several times and when paramedics arrived on scene, they found that one person had sustained critical injuries and at least ten other people had injuries ranging from minor to moderate. ER24 provided the critically injured patient with advanced life support and transported the patient to Milpark Hospital for further treatment.

The remaining patients were treated and transported by other medical services on scene. The cause of the collision remains unknown. Local authorities were on scene for further investigation.
