Booysens SAPS arrest over a 100 suspects for various crimes

These suspects were caught for various crimes.

BOOYSENS SAPS arrested 117 suspects between May 15 to 30, including: assault common – 14, assault grievous bodily harm – 16, attempted theft of motor vehicle – four, common robbery – two, contravention of Liquor Act – one, dealing in dagga – three, dealing in drugs – one, drunken driving – eight, failure to register business – one, fraud – two, fraudulent driver’s licence – one, house break-in and theft – one, malicious damage to property – five, negligent loss of firearm – one, possession of dagga – 10, possession of drugs – eight, possession of house break-in implements – one, possession of stolen property – one, possession of suspected drugs – one, possession of suspected stolen goods – two, possession of unlicensed firearm – three, rape – three, reckless and negligent driving – one, robbery of cellphone – one, armed robbery – one, robbery with other weapon – two, selling liquor without a licence – two, shoplifting – five, arrests in terms of Private Security Industry Regulation Act (PSiRA) – 10, theft – two, theft of motor vehicle – one, use of motor vehicle without owner’s consent – one and violation of protection order – two.
