Moffat View CPF will have a public meeting in the Southern Suburbs.

TWO suspects were arrested for possession of a stolen car on May 30 at about 8.30am.

Members of the Flying Squad were patrolling in the Johannesburg CBD area when the police received information from a tracking company about a stolen vehicle. It was confirmed that the Polo Vivo which had gone missing was fitted with a tracker and was being driven in Petunia Street, Rosettenville.

The members rushed to Rosettenville, where they spotted the vehicle with two occupants inside it in Lawn Street and then Geranium Street. They stopped the vehicle and Constable Ncube searched the occupants, without finding anything illegal.

After the driver told them that the vehicle belonged to her boyfriend, the police arrested the two for possession of a stolen car.
