INVESTIGATIONS to find and charge those responsible for three semi-naked women breaching security into the Johannesburg’s medium B prison in the south of Johannesburg popularly known as ‘Sun City’ recently, continue.
‘Sun City’ was a fest in entertainment on June 21 when a group of dancers somehow made their way into the prison grounds to entertain sex offenders.

The 13 have all received the letters confirmed departments spokesperson Singabakho Nxumalo who said the group were provided with a platform to explain themselves in writing and had done so.
“We are reviewing their individual responses and will act accordingly.”

He said the group would be charged should the department find them guilty.
Asked when the department would conclude their investigations Nxumalo said there had been no pre-set date on when investigations would be concluded.
This follows the department’s acting national commissioner James Smalberger condemning the illicit images and confirming it was a security breach.
He said the entertainment should have been halted immediately when the women were spotted.
The department still has to provide answers detailing the security breach into a place many regards as punishment for law offenders.
How the dance group was allowed to bypass the bureaucratic access regulated institution remains to be answered followed by the names of those linked to the security breach, their rank and what remedial action would be taken.
