BOOYSENS SAPS captured a suspect who was committing house break-ins around the south and he was sentenced to 15 years imprisonment.
The suspect was on the radar since committing a house break-in in Xavier Reef on October 16, 2014. The suspect was linked with the crime through the fingerprints process. Prior to that, the suspect was arrested on October 21, 2012, in another case where he was sentenced to three years imprisonment suspended for five years.
The suspect showed no remorse and continued to break the law and he was again arrested in Orlando and sentenced to eight years imprisonment.
WO Fanie van Staden from Booysens SAPS, along with the tracing unit, managed to trace the suspect in jail and charged the suspect for the house break-in that he committed in Xavier.
