ADHope reaches out to the community of Turffontein with food parcels
Giving back to the community is their mission.
PASTOR Bile Hughes, leader of non-profit organisation African Diaspora Hope (ADHope), conducted food parcel distribution on July 13 in Turffontein.
ADHope has been helping the community for the past two years with the help of Pick n Pay Mall of the South and Food Bank.
These two stores help the organisation by sponsoring food and clothes. Elders and the young ones are the people who benefit from ADHope because they are neglected most of the times by their families.
Hughes said: “Our aim is to impact the community by changing lives with the love that we give them. One of the most important things is that the people we serve don’t have to buy lunch because we provide them with lunch.
“Turffontein is our community so with the little that we have and get from our sponsors we feel honoured to share it with the members of the community.”The organisation also has support groups for young people and couples where they help them with troubles and problems. They also offer aftercare for little ones. For more information, you can contact Pastor Bile Hughes on 072 108 6860.
