On Monday morning, January 7, 2019, parents were up in arms at Diversity High School as most Grade 9s, 10s and 11s failed and saying a high number of pupils failed with report cards being different from the entire year and they want do something about it.
Below messages were sent by parents to the COURIER:

One of the parents sent the COURIER a report card:

A meeting between the principal and teachers was held at the school.

“Every parents with grievances must fill in the appeal form and they will be dealing with them from tomorrow. Normally the department takes up to 14 days to deal with appeals however as a school they are committed to sort them tomorrow depending on the amount of them. Those who didn’t receive reports, their marks are on the system a reprint will be done. Lastly parents needs to understand that it doesn’t mean that their child will pass because they appealed. If after all the deliberations are done and it shows that the child failed that child failed. The learner whom has appealed has two option either to stay at home until the appeal is finalized or go to the class he/she was in last year” said Diversity High School principal, Hosea Maboya
*An update will follow as soon as more information is available.
