‘There’s no problem at BG’s Tin Shack Sports Bar’ – Customer
Since 2015 when I first started frequenting the bar, it has never closed at 5am, and I go there almost every weekend.
I am a customer of BG’s Tin Shack Sports Bar and I am writing this letter in response to comments from certain community members that the bar closes at 5am, blares loud music and has people who pee outside.
Since 2015 when I first started frequenting the bar, it has never closed at 5am, and I go there almost every weekend.
Why do I go there?
• BG’s Tin Shack Sports Bar is the safest club in the area.
• It has order.
• It has no crime incidents that I have encountered.
• It has clean bathrooms, which allows people to use them freely.
• BG’s doesn’t allow underage people on the premises.
• We answer our phones outside because there is less noise.
• No has been killed at BG’s Tin Shack Sports Bar.
• Even the CPF goes there from time to time to check and they have never arrested anyone, because it is a peaceful place to enjoy yourself.
• JMPD goes there from time to time as well, and they just check and leave.
So for all the above reasons, the article that was written by the paper last week is negative for the business of our own South African businessman, especially since no customers were interviewed about the complaint.
At the bar they also have a kitchen we buy food from. Who would buy food from a dirty, stinky place? I guess no one.
You can even interview the club staff and Uber and Taxify drivers about the place.
Can the people who made the complaints against the club first just go to the clubs that have high crime, drugs and high fatalities in Main Street before commenting? Can anyone from Southern COURIER visit at least one of the other clubs in the area to see the difference?
