WATCH: Orion, the new kid on the JOY Dogs block, rises to fame

SUE Green, owner of the famous JOY Dogs, is very proud, and rightly so, of her newest addition to the family, Orion, who recently appeared in a Dulux advertisement for its new product, EasyCare, the ultimate washable matt paint.

“The advert is currently being aired on TV and Orion is definitely following in his late brother’s, Oscar, paws. Oscar appeared in quite a few Dulux adverts and he was also the dog behind the original JOY dogs with himself, Yola and Jazmine,” added Sue.

“Oscar taught Orion everything he needed to know and in this advert surpassed expectations, especially as it was his first time on set and he was only 14 months old.

“Orion is such a confident, willing dog and complied with everything he was asked to do. He had the support of Yola during the film shoot as she, originally chosen and then too nervous to perform, became the backup dog.

“Orion was filmed continuously throughout the day and loved meeting everyone and showing off his tricks. Behind-the-scenes photos can soon be seen on Oscar and the JOY Dogs Facebook page.”

He is now 17 months old and came from Russia a year ago. Orion has fitted in well with the JOY Dogs and has already achieved his Canine Good Citizen bronze and silver certificates. He can also read and count like his sisters.
