South Rand Hospital rewards its employees

Awards ceremony bonanza.

SOUTH Rand Hospital honoured the hard work and dedication of staff members throughout the year during an awards ceremony on November 29.

The audience was kept entertained by the South Rand Hospital Choir.

The chief executive office (CEO) of the hospital, Dr Nobantu Maleka, addressed the audience, saying she is pleased with work rate the troops managed to complete during the year.

Lucy Bands took the best admin clerk award.

“Every department works hard and we work for each other. We have to save lives and every day when we enter this house that’s our mission – to save lives and inspire,” said Maleka.

Best speech therapist and audiologist award went to Julia Anastasia.

The main award was the CEO’s Award and Mdumisani Hlongwane scooped the bragging rights due to his ever-humble personality and team player attributes.

“I gave this award to him because of his reverence for his work and colleagues. I wish him all the best in his career,” said Maleka.
