Johannesburg Flying Squad cleans the streets

The suspects will be making an appearance in the magistrate’s courts soon for their respective crimes.

The Johannesburg Flying Squad operation yielded positive results on the weekend of January 17 to January 20.

The Flying Squad members made the following arrests. Theft – one, shoplifting – one, malicious damage to property – one and possession of drugs – three.

Also, two vehicles, which were reported stolen, were recovered. Also, an Audi A4 which was hijacked was recovered.

JHB Flying Squad communications officer Raymond Sambo said investigations in all the cases continue.

“Working together with the community led to these recoveries. SAPS appreciates the public for their contribution. It should also be noted that if anyone has any information regarding the vehicles, you can contact the relevant detective quoting the relevant case number,” said Sambo.

The suspects will be making an appearance in the magistrate’s courts soon for their respective crimes.
