Kenilworth siblings open vehicle repair shop

"Lockdown will make you think hard. We wanted to lead by example." - Muzi.

Lockdown hasn’t put a damper on the spirit of Kenilworth siblings Muzi (21) and Sethusonke (25) Ximba who have opened their car fixing business, Car Collision Clinic.

This is after Muzi was laid off by his employer of three years because of the lockdown.

With his five years’ experience in the motor industry, Muzi said it was high time he did something in his community. They mainly deal with dent removal, spray-painting, bumper repairs, polishing, headlight scratch removal, and fibre glass welding.

“Lockdown will make you think hard. We wanted to lead by example. Jobs are scarce and with the experience we have we thought we can seize this opportunity.

“We are going to take in other unemployed youth, teach them the industry. This shop deals with minor car problems as we do not at the moment have large equipment.

“We have collaborated with established companies in the area,” explained Muzi.

For these two the sky is the limit as they prepare to use their skills to broaden their horizon in the motor industry. Muzi can be contacted on 076 569 5383 or visit them at 124 Sheffield Street, Kenilworth.
