Beauty pageant shaping up
The organisers cancelled the male category as they saw a very disappointing registration.
Forty is the number of contestants for the first Miss Rosettenville, Face of the South and Miss Teen to be held at Rosettenville Central Primary School on November 7.
The organisers cancelled the male category as they saw a very disappointing number of entries. There are, however, more programmes and events to accommodate them.
Jimmy Ntuli, one of the organisers, said, “We are honoured by the presence of these girls who have had different challenges in the South. The young people have had a very difficult time while the country was on lockdown with no movement. The event has brought them back to what they love.
“We appreciate the donations and support from different people in the community. We would appreciate to have goody bags, girls’ hampers, beauty packs, data vouchers as more prizes to all our contestants as we believe they are all winners.”
