Great performances at St Martin’s Eisteddfod

The young thespians performed pieces that resonated strongly with their world: abuse of all kinds, inter-generational conflict and what it means to be human.

The St Martin’s Eisteddfod on October 24 gave learners a voice.

Many prepared and delivered challenging speeches on current issues, including gender identity, the role of tradition in people’s lives and how social media is impacting the world at large.

The young thespians performed pieces that resonated strongly with their world: abuse of all kinds, inter generational conflict and what it means to be human.

The day ended with a classical music performance on the piano, followed by some passionately articulated slam poetry.

The event celebrated the talent of learners as well as their ability to express themselves creatively.

Overall performance winner for both Eisteddfod and public speaking Tyler Johnson.
