WATCH: Organisations support NGOs that fight against GBV

All the beneficiaries appreciated the kind gesture from Arrow for Change in partnership with Rise Against Hunger.

Arrow for Change, Arrowhead Properties’ corporate social initiative, partnered with Rise Against Hunger in support of gender-based violence (GBV) awareness at an event handover at Mall@theJunction in Rosettenville on December 8.

Three beneficiaries were selected within the Rosettenville community, namely, Active Youngins Foundation, The House Group and Nisaa Institute for Women’s Development.

Personal hygiene care packs as well as breakfast and lunch meal kits were handed to the beneficiaries to feed and care for the women and girls for the next three months.

“It has been an honour to partner with Rise Against Hunger to assist these beneficiaries that are committed to having a positive impact on these young women and providing a future and hope for them,” commented Riaz Kader, COO of Arrow for Change.

Ntuthuko Dube from Rise Against Hunger said this is not about them but the partners they are working with, especially Arrowhead for making this possible.

“Arrowhead is our hero, they have done so much countrywide, thank you to them. As we meet during the 16 days of activism against GBV, we researched who we could partner with and these three beneficiaries were selected. All the beneficiaries walk the talk when it comes to GBV and we are very honoured to work with them,” he said.
