A man sustained fatal injuries in a shooting incident on the corner of Southdale and Kliprivier drives in Southdale on April 13.
Ineke van Huyssteen from ER24 said when their paramedics arrived on scene shortly after 5pm, they found a vehicle in the middle of the roadway.
Upon further assessment, they found the driver still inside the vehicle, showing no signs of life. He had sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was declared dead on scene.
Booysens SAPS communications officer Capt Lorraine van Emmerik said, “I can confirm a murder docket has been opened at Booysens Police Station and is under investigation.”
