Accredited training at no cost to the youth

No fees are required and only unemployed and unskilled youth are accepted.

Believers Care Society Youth Development Centre (BCS) is inviting unemployed and unskilled youth to register for the accredited skills development training programme at no cost.

The Gauteng Department of Social Development supports the programme. Registration closes on February 18 and classes resume on February 21.

Courses offered include office skills/administration, computer literacy, project management, PC engineering, mobile engineering, contact centre support/call centre, computerised bookkeeping/Pastel accounting, graphic/multimedia design, system development, Cisco IT essentials, and business management.

A certificate of competence is issued at the successful completion of the course.

Courses are accredited through respective SETAs and the Department of Higher Education and Training.

Requirements are a certified copy of ID, proof of residence or police affidavit confirming the address, short CV and previous qualifications (all certified).

Duration is three months, six months and 12 months respectively, with classes running from Monday to Friday for four hours a day.

To qualify, one must be between 18 and 35 years, matric or equivalent, Grade 10s and 11s are also taken. You must be willing to study and to complete training or project duration. No fees are required and only unemployed and unskilled youth are accepted.
