Rosettenville shooting case postponed again

The case will be heard again in the Johannesburg Central Magistrate Court on May 31.

The case of 10 suspects, who were arrested during a shoot-out with law enforcement officers in February, has been postponed following their appearance in the Johannesburg Central Magistrate Court on Thursday, May 19.

The lawyer representing eight of the accused argued for a postponement due to the fact that he still struggles to see his clients who are kept in Kgosi Mampuru Prison in Pretoria.

The lawyer also asked the magistrate for privacy when he is consulting his clients at the prison to which the magistrate recommends he approach the high court about that matter.
