Grade Seven Trinityhouse Glenvista learners hosted a successful market day

Each stall covered all costs and made a profit. The learners were required to submit a financial statement to the school detailing their capital contributions, sales and profit.

Trintyhouse Glenvista School hosted a successful market day in which Grade Seven learners were given the opportunity to create their own entrepreneurial venture on October 22.

On the day, food (biryani, samosas, boerie rolls, burgers and hot chips), waffles and ice cream, sweets, make-up, mocktails and cooldrinks, small toys and jewellery were sold.

Big smiles from young entrepreneurs.

Breaking Bank, Burger Babes, Cupid’s Candy, Fantastic 4, Flavour Town, Groove, Paradise Life, Sugar Rush, Slay Sisters, Summer Squad, Tiki Shack, and The Under-Tanned Cookies were among the 12 groups, each with three to six learners.

The Market Day brought family and friends together.

Flavour Town, one of the businesses/stalls, held a raffle for Jordan sneakers. Ureshni Vallabh (woman’s sneakers) and Manish Naran (men’s sneakers) were the winners.

Waiting with bated breathe for the next shot.
