Level 7 Academy opens its first office in South Africa

Young individuals who wish to advance both on and off the field can do so by using the platform that Level 7 Academy offers to play professional football and learn new skills.

The Johannesburg office of Level Seven Academy in South Africa announced their first-ever international relationship.

Through this strong partnership, the Level 7 approach will be applied for the first time globally.

Level 7 Academy offers a platform that fosters a professional football and learning experience for young people who desire to advance both on and off the field.

According to coach Brendon Lohan, their customised programmes provide a full-time education in football in addition to experiences, chances, and knowledge in a range of sectors. They take themselves to be more than just a football team, with their two to three-year programme helping to shape the future of its student-athletes at the vital age of 4 to 19.

“All of this suggests that happiness is largely dependent on giving rather than getting. Helping youth to reach their desired football goals gives us the impression that we are having a significant impact on someone’s life, which motivates us to continue doing good deeds and learn new ways to make young people reach their goals,” said Brandon.

The academy is based in parts of the greater Alberton and has its sports facilities in Kibler Park. However, it welcomes everyone who has a passion for football.

Level 7 Academy initially started in London in England and has developed to a point where it now runs several projects which aim to help football lovers.

Brandon said that the goal of the academy is straightforward. They are attempting to open chances for players in the football industry because individuals are significantly underrepresented in two roles, both at the grassroots and elite levels.

“As the academy, ensuring that everyone acquires those necessary skills to reach their goal serves as our number one priority. We were recently promoted to the Gauteng Development League; this also gives us more strength to work hard to give our players fair and equal opportunities,” coach Brandon concluded.
