Six suspects were arrested on drug and firearm charges.
According to Tyrone van der Merwe, the sales director at CPS Security, they received an anonymous tip about the suspects.
CPS Security, the Gauteng Traffic Police Special Law Enforcement Unit, the Eden Park SAPS, the Brackendowns CPF, Thata Zonke, the Johannesburg Flying Squad and the Department of Correctional Services raided several locations. Six dockets were opened, and six suspects were arrested.
“We thank the community for sending us anonymous information regarding drugs and firearms,” said Van der Merwe.
“Please keep sending us information via our Facebook Messenger. All information is confidential. A reward will be offered depending on the arrest made. Let us keep working together to keep our areas crime-free,” he concluded.
