Sunday FC donates winter clothing to Believers Care Society during outreach
Sunday FC supports Believers Care Society winter drive to ease burden for struggling families.
Sunday FC donated jerseys and jackets to children supported by the Believers Care Society in Turffontein, as part of efforts to ease the burden of winter on struggling families in the community.
The handover took place at Believers Care Society in Turffontein on July 24, as part of the organisation’s community outreach.
The donation was inspired by the financial challenges many Turffontein families face during the colder months.
“Winter can be very difficult for many families in our community and we know that many people in Turffontein are facing financial challenges,” coach Teboho Molapo said. “As Sunday FC, we felt it was important to do our small part to help where we could.

“When we heard about Believers Care Society’s winter drive, we saw it as an opportunity to support their efforts and ensure that more children could benefit,” coach Molapo stated.
The jerseys and jackets were specifically donated for children under the care of Believers Care Society. For the club, the goal was simple: to provide comfort and encouragement during a tough season.
