Suspects arrested and stolen cables seized in Moffat View blitz
A joint operation by CPS Security, SAPS, and Gauteng Traffic Police brought significant breakthroughs in the fight against crime.
A joint operation between CPS Security, Moffat View SAPS, Gauteng Traffic Police, and other key stakeholders on August 22 has led to a significant crackdown on crime in the Moffat View policing area.
The operation focused on abandoned buildings, illegal power connections, and cable theft, resulting in several notable successes.
Two individuals were arrested for possession of narcotics, while another was arrested for possessing a fake firearm, which was confiscated.
Additionally, stolen cable, fencing, and other items were recovered, and scrap dealers found to be buying stolen materials illegally were shut down.

This initiative forms part of an ongoing effort to keep communities safer, cleaner, and free from criminal activity.
By collaborating with law enforcement and other partners, CPS Security continues to take a proactive stance in addressing crime and ensuring community well-being.

Colonel Shunny Govender, station commander at Moffat View SAPS, highlighted the importance of such operations.
“We have taken great strides in tackling crime in the area. Having a joint operation between law enforcement has been key in making arrests,” said Colonel Govender.
