Ward 57 residents march to address issues faced by communities

South Hills and Moffat View residents taking a step to eradicating community issues.

The South Hills community invited all the residents of Ward 57 to unite to address issues such as drugs, killings, a divided community, poor service delivery and support in the areas collectively.

A meeting will be held on June 11 at 15:00 on Outspan Road opposite the Diversity High School park.

A community march will be held on June 16 from 10:00 to 12:00 in the South Hills and Moffat View area. The march will start in front of Laerskool Montanus Primary, South Hills and end at Moffat View Police Station.

The plan is to hand a memorandum to the Moffat View SAPS and the ward councillor to help the South Hills and Moffat View communities with the issues requiring attention, support and action.

Secure parking will be available during the march at the flats on the corner of Southern Kliprivierberg and Outspan roads.

The South Hills community urged people in Ward 57 to stand together for the sake and well-being of the children in the community and the generations to come.
