WATCH: The Mr and Miss Alberton 2023 beauty pageants in action
Mr and Miss Alberton 2023 finalist recently visited Johannesburg South’s United Cerebral Palsy Association of SA as part of his community project.
Devline van Rooyen from Mayberry Park is a finalist in the Mr and Miss Alberton 2023, directed by Ayanda and Karabo Maepane.
It has been his dream to be a model and one day represent the country in the international arena.
The budding model recently spent the day with patients from the United Cerebral Palsy Association of SA on his quest to spread love while offering needed assistance.
He said he received an eye-opening experience during his visit to the home.

“I spent quality time with those lovely ladies and gentlemen as part of my community project. I was so blessed to meet Christine, one of the patients. We got to colour in pictures and my heart truly melted,” he explained.
Following his visit, he said he now understands the importance of life and that life should not be taken for granted.
He thanked the staff for allowing him to interact and assist where needed.
