Nkomo-Ralehoko confirmed that the school is a beacon of hope in the area. “We all know the challenges in this area. However, I want to thank the leadership of this school for shaping the future of these learners. This is a safe haven for them.

“To parents, I also want to urge you not to relegate all the responsibilities to the teachers. Do your part at home. To the teachers and staff, thank you for your dedication as you come here every day.

“The area has changed but the school maintains its quality. It is a fortress of learning and safety around here,” she said.

The little ones recited rhymes and sang for the audience before they changed into their blue graduation gowns and received their certificates.
