South Crest Residents Association celebrates family day in style
To celebrate the Easter holiday, the South Crest Residents Association held an Easter egg hunt to make the weekend fun for everyone in the area.

The South Crest Residents Association (SCRA) let local children participate in an egg hunt at the Vlei Street park on Easter Monday.
The SCRA director, Deidre de Carvalho, said the children and their parents’ attendance was great, and the kids were thrilled to meet Easter Bunny.

The SCRA was founded late last year. The aim was to improve the neighbourhood and address issues facing the community.
Furthermore, it protects, promotes, and defends the rights of its citizens and opposes any activity deemed detrimental, all the while reviving the residents’ and community’s sense of pride.
“Our thanks go to the SCRA committee, SOG Security, CPS Security, Easter Bunny and the South Crest residents for making the day special,” she said.
