Support survivors at the Shop My Closet event
The event is aimed at empowering survivors of human trafficking through fashion and community support.
Home of Hope for Girls and Micah Décor and Events are teaming up to present Shop My Closet, a day dedicated to empowering 100 survivors of human trafficking.
SOJO Helping Hands Foundation will host this year’s event at their new SOJO Charity Store at the Mall of the South.
They will offer a stylish shopping experience for these women to shop for clothing, handbags, shoes, and more – all for free.
To make this day special, the organisations are seeking sponsors for clothing, handbags, shoes and services such as fashion styling, hairdressing, makeup, and nails.
How you can help:
• Contents for 100 care packs – soap, toothpaste, sanitary pads and any additional items you wish to include.
• A cash sponsorship to purchase and package the care packs on your behalf.
• Photography or videography service for up to three hours to document the day.
• Food and drinks for 100 ladies.
If you have items to donate, drop them off at the #Holler donation box at the Mall of the South. It is on the lower ground level, entrance 2, outside the centre management office.
Please ensure your donations reach the organisations by December 6. This will help prepare for the Shop My Closet event on December 14.
