Youth can start their careers at the BCS-Centre of Excellence

Applicants must be will study and complete the project.

Believers Care Society (BCS) – Centre of Excellence for Youth Development provides a career head start for the youth after matric and skills for those seeking employment opportunities.

Young people should not sit at home while waiting for university or other opportunities. They can choose a career path out of over 35 full qualification courses offered at the BCS either as a skills programme for three to six months or a full qualification programme for 12 months.

They can study from the range of Comptia and CISCO IT international qualifications offered at BCS.

No payment is required as the Gauteng Department of Social Development supports this programme.

Application is open, and registration will close on January 30. Courses are office skills/admin, computer course, project management, PC engineering, contact centre support/call centre course, computerised bookkeeping/pastel accounting, graphic/multimedia design, system development, CISCO IT essentials, basic kitchen appliances repairer and sound engineering.

At the successful completion of these courses, the students receive a certificate of competence.

Registration requirements are a copy of ID, proof of residence or police affidavit confirming the address, a short CV, and previous qualifications, all certified.

Duration is three months, six months and 12 months respectively, attending from Monday to Friday for four hours a day.

The age limit is between 18 and 35 years. The entry-level is matric or equivalent, and grades 10 and 11 may also apply to study. Students must be willing to study and complete the training or project duration.
