Sue Lubbe and Friends aim to feed 126 000 in 2025 – community called to help

Sue and Friends have been feeding the needy for 25 years and they target to feed 126 000 this year

Sue Lubbe and Friends charity organisation have been working closely with the Meyersdal SUPERSPAR and the Bassonia SPAR for their shoe drive project.

They have been ensuring that children go to school with a decent pair of shoes. They have handed over shoes to WH Coetzer Primary School in the Hill and Mossie Primary School in Forest Hills to the less fortunate learners.

Sue Lubbe and Friends are also again embarking on the Stay-Warm-Day and have been doing this for many years preparing food for school feeding schemes, homes for the disabled, the elderly, children’s homes and many more.

Last year, when they celebrated 25 years of the organisation’s existence, they were fortunate enough to reach the target of 125 000 people, from May to December.

This year they are seeking community assistance as they would like to top this by feeding 126 000 people. The community can donate clothing, blankets, soup and soup fillers to assist in their feeds at Mayersdal Superspar and Bossonia Spar.

They are asking for help to ensure the neediest of the needy people will have a smile again this year. The organisation believes that the people of the south are champions in ensuring this happens time and time again.
