Join the Mall of the South Mandela Day drive to change lives
Your contributions will help feed, clothe, and comfort over 2 000 individuals in need this July 18.
This Mandela Day, Mall of the South, in proud partnership with SOJO Helping Hands Foundation, is leading an initiative to honour the legacy of Nelson Mandela by giving back to those in need.
The community is encouraged to participate in a collection to support the Momo Upliftment Centre, where over 200 people will receive food, clothing, and other essentials.
Donations may include toiletries (soap, toothpaste, and shampoo), non-perishable food (canned food or dry goods), pre-loved clothing (gently-used items for all ages), and warm blankets.
These donations will be handed over on July 18, when volunteers will be feeding and clothing those in need, embodying Madiba’s spirit of compassion and selflessness.
How you can help:
Your small act of kindness can make a big difference, whether you donate a can of food, a warm blanket, or a bag of clothes.
These donations will show someone that they matter, are not forgotten, and belong to a community that cares.
Donations can be dropped off at Entrance 2, Mall of the South.
Together, we can create a ripple effect of kindness and generosity, just as Madiba did throughout his life.
