Postbank has shared the nearest card replacement sites for Joburg south and surrounding residents after beneficiaries reported struggling to find where to replace their SASSA Gold Cards.
Following enquiries from social grant beneficiaries who said they were struggling to find locations to replace their SASSA Gold Cards, Postbank has shared the nearest replacement sites available to residents in Joburg south and surrounding areas.
The bank reminded beneficiaries that SASSA Gold Cards will no longer be accepted after 30 August 2026 and urged those who have not yet switched to the new Postbank Black Cards to do so as soon as possible to avoid interruptions to their grant payments.
For beneficiaries in Joburg South, the nearest replacement sites are located at:

Beneficiaries must bring a valid South African ID or temporary ID when collecting their new card.
The replacement is free of charge; requires no forms, and the new Postbank Black Card can be used immediately after it is issued.
Postbank has also encouraged beneficiaries not to wait until the last minute to replace their cards, warning that delays and long queues may occur closer to the deadline.
