SKILLED DIESEL / EARTHMOVING MECHANIC Seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic with proven experience in earthmoving equipment. Responsibilities include the inspection, servicing, maintenance, fault diagnosis, and repair of heavy earthmoving machinery, including excavators, loaders, graders, dozers, articulated dump trucks, and related equipment. The successful candidate will perform mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical repairs, conduct preventative maintenance, and ensure equipment reliability, safety, and optimal performance to support continuous operations and compliance with company and industry standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The ability to diagnose, repair, maintain and test Heavy commercial vehicles / Earthmoving equipment and other internal combustion engines as well as related mechanical components. The ability to overhaul mechanical components of Heavy commercial vehicles / Earthmoving equipment such as engines, transmissions, differentials, electronics, final drives, hydraulic components, suspensions, pneumatic circuits, steering circuits and brakes. Proficient in interpreting schematic diagrams and parts manuals. Knowledge regarding types of oils and lubricants used for Heavy commercial vehicles / Earthmoving equipment. Computer literate with the ability diagnose using diagnostic equipment
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
Valid EC drivers` licence + PDP Red Seal Trade Test Certificate
•Earthmoving Diesel Mechanic Grade 12 5 Years experience with 3 years being is similar position SEND CV
