All of us are searching for something in life, but the question is, what are you specifically searching for? Most people spend a lot of time asking this question, ‘How can I make more money?’ This is the most asked question.
A while back I came across these words in the bible, Luke 12 verse 34 – ‘For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.’ To me these words simply meant that chasing treasures (money) is like chasing a butterfly, which will elude you forever. To easily catch a butterfly, you must become colourful and attractive and it will easily be attracted and voluntarily come to you. These words are so powerful that they helped me change my life. I started searching for my passion, where my heart is. I read the books, I attended workshops, seminars, conferences and increased my networks. While listening to one of the speakers in one of the seminars, I experienced something I never did before, I saw myself through him as he was talking passionately on stage and I knew then that I wanted to be a professional and motivational speaker. I had found my passion and I started working on it and the rest is history.
If money was not a problem in your life and you were to work because you want to, not because you have to, what work would you do instead of what you are doing right now? The answer to this question is what you need to turn your life around, passion. Identifying your passion and dedicating your life to it is what will lead to happiness, peace of mind and treasures never imagined before.
