Life is too short. You have heard these words many times before, but what do they really mean to you? To me, they mean don’t put off what you can do today for tomorrow. When you take a lot of time making a correct decision, remember that even a correct decision becomes wrong when it is taken too late.
Never let indecision dominate your life. Indecision is the thief of opportunity. Indecision means the door is still closed. Indecision means the opportunity still waits. Indecision means what could be is postponed and may never be. Those are all the penalties of indecision. It leads to regret. Yes, you can’t always make a snap judgement, and you can’t always decide immediately. But after a while you must understand a final decision has to be taken, otherwise you will suffer from arrested development and miss out on life’s great possibilities.
Your future promises and life’s desires are all dependent on today’s decision. This may be the decision you postponed and postponed, and now you understand the penalty of postponing that decision. You’ve got to do something and finally you come to the conclusion, today is the day, I now decide. Making a final decision is getting the monkey off your back. Getting the monkey off your back is simply doing away with that thing that has delayed your progress, happiness, peace of mind, promotion at work, more business, growth and success in your life. You are the only person who knows what is holding you back.
Happiness begins when you are making progressive progress – you don’t have to arrive all at once. But immediately you feel lighter and doors of happiness and peace of mind will be opened wide for you.
