I have just read the article “Service delivery is poor in ward 124”, COURIER January 17, where Clr Sidney Radebe blames lack of service delivery on the DA.
Well let me set the record straight.
Over the last two years I have been in dialogue with the DA’s Clr Tyrell Meyers and every time I complained about issues in our area, these were dealt with promptly and efficiently. I have contacted Clr Radebe via email on various occasions and had no response from him whatsoever! Now he wants to favour himself as initiating the clean up?
Various people can verify this as they were included in the dialogue. This has been on-going for two years now.
If certain councillors stopped trying to catch a shine and actually put their heads together in support of each other and worked together as a unit then things might just happen for the better of our city.
Come guys! Work together! Not against each other! You are supposed to be representing us citizens!
