MMC of Housing Mlungisi Mabaso promises to fix old age homes

Residents from Reuven wish to applaud the MMC for keeping his word.

Residents of Reuven Old Age Home (OAH) were excited and overwhelmed when word spread that MMC of Housing Mlungisi Mabaso and his entourage are inspecting the conditions of the housing units at Reuven.

Many of the residents are tired of complaining for years about the poor conditions of the flats.

Geysers, water leaks, electrical plugs and fittings need to be replaced. Windows are broken and there is dampness and so many other complaints has fallen on deaf ears. At least there is hope that things will materialise.

Word came from Moffat View OAH that various contractors were painting, installing ceilings, repairing roofs, plumbing, electrical and the outside fence and razor wire attached to it. Trees were trimmed and the complex will certainly look beautiful when completed. Contractors already started to work at Annie Burger OAH, very soon it will be Reuven.
