SOUTHERN Suburbs Bowls club played host to 42 players from in and around Johannesburg at bowling day.
The social bowling day took place on Sunday September 15 at Southern Suburbs Bowls club. Altogether 14 teams participated, made up from three teams from Kensington, Reading, Maraisburg, two Turffontein teams and Suburbs Sport as well as five Southern Suburbs teams.
According to all who participated they enjoyed the social bowls.
Winning teams were: ACE team, Winnie-team and Andre-team all from Kensington.
A total of R5 100 was the prize money which was up for grabs on the day.
