JOHANNESBURG – Orange African Nations Championship will kick-off on January 11 to February 1, 2014.
The championship will take place in Johannesburg and the three host cities where the top 16 Nations will compete for glory.
This is the third edition of the competition and the Volunteer Programme is now officially open. The programme is set in place to once again provide excellent service at the championship.
“In the 2013 African Cup of Nations our volunteers were excellent and were commended by CAF,” said Local Organising Committee CEO, Mvuzo Mbebe at the Press Conference on Friday August 23.
All South Africans and Africans can apply as a volunteer. The volunteer application is now open for applicants and the closing date is on Sunday September 15. Altogether 1 500 volunteers will be appointed by CHAN.
The programme that will provide extensive tournament specific training and will equip them with all the necessary skills and information required to understand their responsibilities.
