Bidvest Wits and Bloemfontein Celtic open MTN8 season
Tickets are now on sale at Computicket and Shoprite Checkers countrywide at R40 for adults and R10 for children under the age of 12.
Bidvest Wits and Bloemfontein Celtic will open the Premier Soccer League this evening when they meet in the first match of the MTN8.
They will take each other on in the quarter finals for the first official match of the 2014/2015 season. The two teams will meet at Wits home ground. The kick-off is at 20:00.
MTN8 Quarter-final tickets are still available. With less than a few hours before the opening fixture of the 2014/15 season, the PSL has urged football fans to purchase tickets for this weekend’s MTN8 quarter-final clashes.
Tickets are still available for all four fixtures – starting with Friday night’s season opener that will see Bidvest Wits take on Bloemfontein Celtic at the Bidvest Stadium on Friday August 1.

The MTN8 tournament will usher in the 2014/15 season – with the first game scheduled for the first weekend of August 2014.
On Saturday, defending MTN8 champions Platinum Stars will travel to Tshwane to play against Mamelodi Sundowns at Loftus Stadium (15:00), and Orlando Pirates will host SuperSport United at Orlando Stadium (20:15). Kaizer Chiefs will play Black Aces in the last quarter-final encounter at the FNB Stadium on Sunday (15:00).
The MTN8 tournament dates are:
· Quarter-Finals: August 1, 2 and 3
· Semi-Final Draw: August 4
· Semi-Finals: August 16 and 17 (First Leg)
· Semi-Finals: August 23 and 24 (Second)
· Final: Saturday September 20
