More PitchVision for youngsters

PitchVision will be available for all cricket players.

Cricket coaching at grassroots level has been given a significant boost with the announcement that Cricket South Africa’s (CSA) Coach Education Programme will be receiving an expanded sponsorship from PitchVision South Africa.

Previously PitchVision SA sponsored the CSA annual coach of the year awards, which included franchise coach of the year, semi-professional coach of the year and the hub coach of the year.

The new agreement will see PitchVision sponsor CSA’s Coach Education Programme including the sponsorship of the national level 1, 2 and 3 coaching courses, the Coach Acceleration Programme and the National Coaches Conference.

CSA recently installed their products at the Cricket South Africa Centre of Excellence and based on the phenomenal success will now be deploying PitchVision’s popular PV One unit to all the provincial academies around South Africa to observe players’ techniques and identify talent.

The PitchVision technology is available to all and it is starting to catch on, with many schools obtaining units which they find effective, efficient and simple to use, gaining desired effects.

Cricket South Africa’s general manager: cricket, Corrie van Zyl, was also delighted by the extension of the PitchVision partnership. “Coaching education is a vital part of ensuring that we have a pipeline that continues to produce talent at all levels,” said Van Zyl.
