JURA unlocks Joburg’s hidden adventure spots

The Hollard Jozi Urban Run Adventure this past weekend showed trail runners and obstacle junkies alike that urban is the new trail.

Over 2 000 runners headed to Marks Park on Saturday, May 27, for a trail run, obstacle course race and all round adventure through the heart of Johannesburg.

“We’d like to thank all the adventurous spirits who joined us this weekend for the Hollard JURA. Runners experienced secret parts of the city they’ve never explored before, including storm water drains, 120m floating bridges, hidden obstacles in the forests, rock climbs, a reed tunnel, a 40m water slide at the Emmarentia Dam wall, and so much more. The Hollard JURA proves that there is an adventure waiting right on your doorstep,” said Russell Willis, Event Organiser, BAM Specialist Event and Experience Creators.

Both athletes and fun runners walked away with over R50 000 worth of cash prizes. To view your results visit Jumpertrax.com

Winners of the GoPro Hero 5, for the best spectator, runner video and best selfie, will be announced soon, on Facebook.
